Katie Cook has been accepted into the 2019 Leadership Rapid City class. Leadership Rapid City (LRC), sponsored by the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce, was organized in 1981. Since inception, it has graduated more than 1000 leaders into the Rapid City area. The 12-week program is designed to promote a better understanding of this community, build and enhance leadership skills, and develop a strong network of community leaders.
Katie began her law career as an associate with Gunderson Palmer Nelson & Ashmore LLP. She focuses her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense. She enjoys writing and oral advocacy and uses these skills to effectively represent her clients. Katie is also the Chair of the Board for Junior Achievement and as an emerging leader for Rapid City Impact.
