Aidan grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota, graduating from Saint Thomas More High School. In 2017, Aidan graduated from the University of South Dakota Honors Program, receiving his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in French Language Studies. Following graduation, Aidan spent another three years in Vermillion, South Dakota, where he attended the University of South Dakota School of Law.
While in law school, Aidan participated in various extracurricular activities. He honed his oral advocacy and writing skills by participating on the University of South Dakota School of Law Moot Court Board. Aidan was also a member of the law school’s trial team, where he competed against nationally ranked teams across the country. He took on various leadership roles while in law school, serving on the school’s Academic Affairs and Curriculum Committee, as a Law School Ambassador, and as a research assistant to Professor Christine Hutton. In 2020, Aidan graduated summa cum laude with Sterling Honors and was at the top of his class.
Following law school, Aidan spent two years clerking in federal district court for the Honorable Karen E. Schreier. During his clerkship, he experienced every stage of litigation in both civil and criminal contexts. Aidan’s experience while clerking helps to shape his strategic approach to each case he is involved in.
Aidan currently serves on the South Dakota State Bar Civil Pattern Jury Instruction and Evidence Committees and the GPNA Tech Committee. Aidan is a member of the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division and Construction Law Division.
Outside of his practice, Aidan enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing, reading, and enjoying all the Black Hills has to offer.
