Micah grew up in northwest Nebraska near the Black Hills, where she developed a lasting appreciation for rural communities, the people who call them home, and the beauty of the outdoors. Her upbringing and Christian faith helped shape her values and instilled in her a desire to serve others with integrity, compassion, and humility. These values continue to influence her approach to practicing law and her commitment to serving the communities she knows and loves.
Micah graduated summa cum laude from Chadron State College with a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and a minor in History. During her time there, she played softball and served on the leadership team of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the ministry club HUDDLE.
Micah attended the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she received academic honors, including the McGrath North Mullin & Kratz Excellence in Legal Writing Award and multiple CALI Awards. She also served as vice president of the Christian Legal Society and gained practical experience through internships and the Nebraska Law Entrepreneurship Clinic, assisting startup businesses with entity formation, trademark protection, and regulatory compliance.
Micah is passionate about serving rural communities and helping the individuals, families, and businesses that make them strong. She particularly enjoys estate planning and the opportunity to help clients prepare for the future in ways that reflect their individual wishes and priorities. Recognizing that legal matters often involve important personal and financial decisions, Micah strives to provide thoughtful guidance, take the time to understand each client’s needs, and build relationships founded on trust and respect.
Outside of work, Micah enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking and exploring the Black Hills. She also enjoys watching movies, reading historical fiction, and spending time with family.
