Attorney Spotlight: Rebecca L. Mann

Written on March 06th, 2019

Meet Rebecca L. Mann, a lawyer who has been at our firm for the last 10 years. She was born and raised in Spearfish, South Dakota, and attended undergraduate school at Black Hills State University followed by law school at the University of South Dakota. Rebecca enjoys all aspects of litigation work from motions practice, trial work, and appellate advocacy. Her practice areas include litigation, worker’s compensation, and her favorite practice area, governmental liability, because she enjoys representing counties and county officials in civil rights actions.

Rebecca enjoys the fast-paced and demanding field of litigation and is licensed in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Montana. Rebecca is also involved in the organization Community Health Care Center of the Black Hills as the Vice President.

What’s Rebecca’s favorite memory since working at Gunderson Palmer law firm? Her response “I don’t have a favorite memory but I truly enjoy the people I work with. We have a wonderful group of lawyers and fantastic staff. In a profession that is demanding, difficult and at times downright unpleasant, it is a blessing to actually like the people with whom you work. ”

Outside of work, Rebecca likes to enjoy time with her family. Rebecca and her husband Jason have two children, Remington (9 years old) and Rachel (6 years old).

Rebecca is a key asset to our law firm and brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice areas. At Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson & Ashmore, LLP, we are thankful to have her on our team. Contact Rebecca today at 605-342-1078 or by reaching out to her through the contact form on our website.
