Patrick Goetzinger, partner with the Gunderson Palmer law firm, was recently featured in the Grand Forks Herald article “Law firms, UND work to combat shortage of rural attorneys.” The article discusses the importance of having attorneys in rural communities to assure access to legal services by rural residents. Goetzinger discussed the success of South Dakota’s Project Rural Practice and Rural Attorney Recruitment Program, which have directly resulted in restocking small town Main Streets with rural attorneys.
